WHY ILLUNO

One app. Every off-duty shift in Washington.

Prime Ops built illuno in 2018 because we needed it. Largest officer bench in Washington. One app works in 40+ states.

2018

Built by Prime Ops, for officers

Prime Ops built illuno from day one. We’ve been running off-duty staffing in WA the whole time. The app exists because we needed it, not because some startup pitched it to us.

1,000+

Biggest bench in WA

Active and retired officers across every Washington municipality. More shifts in your area than anywhere else, and more officers means shifts get covered when you can’t take one.

40+

States, one app

If you move, transfer, or want to pick up shifts while traveling, the same illuno app works in 40+ states. Your profile and credentials follow you.

100%

Identity verified

Every officer is verified through ID.me, the same identity system used by the IRS and VA. Retired officers also carry HR218 credentials, confirmed in good standing with 10+ years of service.

FAQ

Common questions, answered.

What officers ask before they download. Department approval, taxes, cancellations, jurisdiction, credentials, all covered.

DEPARTMENT APPROVAL

Does my department need to approve?

Off-duty rules vary by department. At Prime Ops, we utilize local jurisdictions where available and when we backfill with our unique roster, our officers have their department approval to work those shifts.

TAXES & PAY

Am I a W-2 or 1099?

This is jurisdictionally dependent. Most of our officers in Washington are W2. However, some departments require 1099 contractor for off-duty work. Prime Ops handles client invoicing and pays its officers directly.

CANCELLATIONS

What if I get a shift and can’t make it?

Cancel in-app and leave an explanation as why you can't be there. The marketplace then pushes out that job to be backfilled by your fellow officers.

JURISDICTION

Can I work outside my home jurisdiction?

Yes. If you department allows you to work outside of your jurisdiction, you can select your custom Work Area in the app and see jobs cross the State.

MARKETPLACE PACE

How fast do shifts get claimed?

Most shifts (Seattle/Tacoma traffic, schools, events) get claimed in mere minutes! Set push notifications to be notified before they’re gone.

CREDENTIALS

What credentials do I need?

Active: valid Washington LEO commission. Retired: HR218 (10+ years, retired in good standing, current firearms qual). ID.me verification for both.
